How does one arrange insurance for a track day, in case of stuffing one's car (or bike)?
If you go to Oulton, pay attention at the briefing and take advantage of the offer of instruction. The first few laps need to ideally be with someone who knows the track. Hardly anything is flat. It is a cracking circuit, but there are a few tricky parts where you need to take the correct lines.
Don't forget, you need to drive the car home, so keep within your limits.

You can get a separate policy for it i think, if your own doesnt. Some cover everything including damage to the track, or others. Covers your ncb as well
Never done a track day. I'd imagine the limits of the average road car are reached very easily, as would the limit of abilities of the average driver I reckon.

The Brabster's been tweaked quite a bit now in all the important areas, so I think she's ready for it... That doesn't mean though I still won't end up trashing her!! :D
Nah, I shall follow Kevin's earlier sage advice.... One thought - once you become familiar with the track, can you race other buggers in their cars? That would be REAL FUN, even more so just haring around the track yourself :eyebrows::eyebrows:
