your right there - before training as a teacher I worked in the chemical industry and was an MSF (previously ASTMS) local rep.
I went on a residential training course: excellent food/wines/beer, all free. Seeing the full time reps made me think of Animal Farm.

In other news, folks, at LONG last, Del's belated (because of Covid) sleepover party, initially supposedly to have marked the opening of her new 'princess room' last year (read as dedicated dressing room), is going ahead tonight!
So.. I'm being kicked out (will be kipping over at my dad's) to allow her and some of her girlfriends, mostly in their 20s, to celebrate.
A hot-tub and enclosure has been hired (complete with 'disco lights' for night time), into which, just before I go, I'll be piping in a playlist of funky choons I've prepared (enough to last a good few hours) and will be streamed from my hard-drives/laptop, through a pair of active speakers. After that, if they're still sober enough (unlikely) they can use my Tidal account.
Anyway, the sun's come out and it looks quite nice, so hopefully it'll stay dry for them. In any case, the tub will be well heated, under cover and secluded, as no doubt at some point it'll be tops off!:drunk::stalks:
Copious quantities of Prosecco have been brought in, and I've prepared a number of different cocktails in jugs for them, and made it all look pretty, so they can splash, dance and drink the night away, watch movies, or whatever else young girls do together at parties in skimpy clothes or bikinis!!:eek:
Right, off to get ready and console myself at drawing the short straw, lol!:D Oh, and to wonder what kind of carnage I'll return to tomorrow.....:doh:
