Well my thinking was that the odds of something happening that would firmly decide me against having the vaccine was so incredibly unlikely that I might as well not hang on and just have it now and get the benefit right away.
Well, that's fine, and I respect that. However, I don't base my life around gambling principles (don't practice that mentality), as I'm not a gambler. Instead, I use my common sense and gut instincts, which have always served me well throughout life.
Also, unlike you, I'm not at the stage yet where (for me personally) I'm convinced of the benefit, hence why I'm willing to wait until sufficient time has elapsed, and relevant information accumulated, to allow me to make the MOST educated decision (for ME), in terms of having a vaccine or not.
Yes, of course there is a risk attached to that, but it's one, based on my relatively young age and good health, I've assessed very carefully and am willing to take:)

Lol... The thing is, whilst what Sandro says is an undeniable truism, what could happen with your future largely depends on how much you roll over and accept simply being a 'number' [meekly acquiesce], or how much you're willing to stand up and FIGHT for your freedom and right to be an individual, with a view of FORCING change if necessary.Quote:

Anyway, I've said this repeatedly throughout the thread, but it's worth repeating again: There is NO point in simply being alive, if you can't LIVE - and only if you are FREE, can you truly LIVE.
Therefore, going forward, I intend on having a life that's worth LIVING, as a FREE man, not simply an existence [under state control or similar] - and we should ALL be striving for the same!

Well, you could argue that the fundamental message of 'The Prisoner' is that physical restrictions are irrelevant and that only true prison is one's own mind.
On the other hand I'm not sure that even McGoohan knew what it was all about.
Yes, and in future we may come to realise how true that statement is, which is precisely why now it's so vital to retain your OWN MIND and remain a FREE-THINKER!;)
...and not become anyone's puppet or 'clone'. That's why you should always resist being controlled (led like a sheep), or ruled by the state - and NOT becoming a slave to technology (allowing it to RULE your life) is a big part in being able to achieve that.
Sadly, however for some, it's already too late...

You've got to fight for your right to party. I wrote a song about it but ended up infringing on one that was written years ago.
make love, not war.. a good motto.:)
