Interesting, he's also selling a ''single'' B&W Matrix 801 Series 2.
I don't mean to sound like a stereotype. But his username sounds Chinese. Sorry...Couldn't help it!

Hi,
Looking for something cheap to tide me over since I've sold my gyrodec. Would this fit the bill or better wait and buy after my holidays, would be looking at spending around £500-£1000 second hand one I get back mid September, although funds would depend on my wife returning to work ;)
I have a Goldring 1012gx spare - would that fit/suit the Walker/Linn Basik?
Mike.
Would do more than tide you over I suspect.
Upgradeable very easily too with something like a Jelco 750-D (which is Linn fitting so should bolt right on) or an outboard PSU (Heed or somesuch). Cartridge will bolt straight on the headshell of that Linn arm and decent compliance match.
Hi,
Thanks for the replies I'll give it some thought and will ask seller about postage as his description mentions £25 for packaging rather than £25 for total posting?
Thanks,
Mike.
Having said that if you have up to £1k I'd be tempted by this http://theartofsound.net/forum/showt...vely-condition
If you want to use the Goldring you'd get decent money back on the Denon.
now these are class, just look at the close up pics.

They look like they've been home reconed with gold cones, quite a bit of edge plasticiser liberally slopped about, but the edge terminating cord looking too starved.
Red cones are still available from Lockwood as far as I know, costing £500ish. Reconing is pretty easy on Tannoys. On the plus side, those hammerited baskets are the real deal, not the 'gold' reds that seem to crop up so often on ebay, and these 'proper' reds are pretty well silvers with dustcaps. Not a bargain though...probably about a third too much.
No longer for sale.
Lintone Audio have a collection of 40 classical albums on vinyl currently at ten quid with five days to go.
May well be a gem hidden amongst them if orchestral manoeuvers are your kinda thing
Sorry can't do a link as tablet is mis-behaving
It takes the same length of time to take a nice clean photo of the spines as it does to take the blurred and out of focus ones they have put up. Cynical... Moi ??? :D
yup, I get the feeling they picked the 3 best ones and stuck them on top.
are they kidding? we have not looked and they may be a hidden gem,of coarse they looked!
TOP ALBUM...
Go on... you know you WANT IT!
