Only in so far as it saves a few seconds on downloads. I don't online game, but I do download a lot of data for work, so that's nice and easy. Some of the downloads are massive!Quote:

We ‘re currently connected via copper cables to a box about 3/4 of a mile away and have about 7MB - and it’s usually fine with Spotify, iPlayer or me downloading turntable p*rn, but it can’t cope with both of us working from home.
The final straw wax a couple of weeks ago when Ursula was on a Teams video call and I was trying to dial into a Skype meeting. The last time it crashed out , I got straight on the phone to EE and ordered their 100MB fibre broadband.
Being installed in a couple of weeks!
checked my speed this morning and its same as yesterday bar a few mbs. so thats good. silly fast but better too much than too little
