Cool... If I download it, will it just work automatically with the Pi/IQ-Audio DAC in the same way as the Volumio web interface I'm currently using? :)

Volumio is basically an MPD (Music Player Daemon) client, so could be swapped out for any other compatible client according to taste.
The client has no effect on the sound as that's managed by MPD, FFMPEG (the software codec for decoding the various file types) and ALSA (the bit that interfaces the software with the hardware).
There's quite a diversity of MPD clients: http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Clients
As all my daily driver computers run linux I tend to prefer GMPC as it's 'rich' in terms of album art and other useful stuff.

Am I right in saying that if I use Moode, it'd have to go on a separate SD card from the one I'm using now, operating Volumio?

But there is an alternative way to control your RPi and to see the album art. There is an app named PlugPlayer, available for Mac, iOS and Android. It must be installed on your Mac and you should do nothing to the RPi (except to enable the UPNP settings on the RPi). I use it with my ipad and it works flawlessly. It is a paid app, but costs just a few quids. The RPi acts as a DMR (digital media renderer) and can be controlled by PlugPlayer. Great fun. :)

I notice you only use a speed Class 4 SD!
Yeah, I know, but it seemed rapid enough when uploading the library from my NAS box! :)
I did try a Class 10 one and it wasn't any quicker...
