Who is Sister Karen?
The only Sister Karen I could find was in reference to a video game called "Evil Nun". So that's me none the wiser.
Back to sunny England

Ah, Gatwick so that would be the M23.
Every time we use Gatwick, we stop over in London the night before and catch the Gatwick Express from London Victoria.
If we have a morning flight we stay in the on airport premier inn and take advantage of the twilight check in facility. We also have their meal deal where you get a two course dinner and unlimited breakfast for £30 and the foods not bad.
This time we messed up as access to the No.1 lounge was included in our holiday with, amongst other things, unlimited breakfast.
If we have an early morning flight from LHR we stay at the Jurys Inn Hotel at Hatton Cross. Dinner and breakfast is not quite as cheap as your Premier Inn, but I'm always prepared to pay for expediency, and the airport shuttle bus is convenient.
If I were you I'd have stayed at the airport and got on the next flight going somewhere sunny and warm.
It's proper miserable here.
Where has rhe fun bus taken us today?

That big house may not be long for this world - as the North Sea nibbles away at the east coast, the beaches on the west coast are getting bigger. We'll end up attached to the US at some point, though Trump may be gone by then.
I was in Dunbar by the way for a wedding, stayed two nights at a very nice hotel. Froze me bits off at the wedding held in a ruined church but reception was enjoyable.

Dorset somewhere perhaps? Or south Devon? And what's with the jellyfish at the top of the picture?
I assumed it must be somewhere abroad as the little shelter isn't vandalised or covered in graffiti, there's no litter blowing about and the bin by the blue sign isn't stuffed to overflowing.
Those trees look foreign, too.
You get those foreign-looking trees in the south west too. Have done for a long time, they didn't all come over on small boats. Take your point about the litter, but not necessarily the graffiti - we have some serious competition abroad:

You're right - presumably they were planted years ago when foreign holidays were expensive to give holidaymakers the vague feeling that they were actually somewhere exotic, instead of a guest house in Bogner or Dawlish where you had to be back by ten o'clock as that's when they locked the doors.
My two favourite bits of graffiti:
On the wall of a bookshop - 'Books are wank.'
On the side of a church - 'Jesus is wank.'
Presumably by the same author. Banksy, eat yer heart out.

Other half with ‘Barry’. Sounded nothing like Elvis but was a good entertainer.

Why can they not do that fuzzy felt hair for people? Sew it on so there's no danger of it coming off in a high wind or in a fight.
No need for shampoo either, just clean it with that foam you can get for getting the stains out of suede car seats.
That's a great idea, and that will come in a range of colours. Handy if you were a bald sportsman, snooker player Willy Thorne could have sported a green one to good effect. And a red or blue one for Wayne Rooney, would have saved him a fortune in hair transplants.
