Introducing Frankie. She of the Woofer wrecking incident in the night. Randomly caught hanging out with the neighbour's Meercat garden ornament. Frankie stepped in to soften the blow when we lost our beloved Del to FIP. A very fine kitty indeed. Still sorely missed.

Alfie hasn't been well lately. He's an old boy with hyperthyroidism which means he eats constantly and gets skinny so we've got him on daily meds. Not worth getting him operated on at that age but he's a character . A streetwise ex stray who charmed us and quickly became the boss of all the cats on this manor.
Long may he reign.

The trick is to place the box on the floor and leave it alone. Eventually the cat's insatiable curiosity will mean it has to investigate the inside, and then you have it. :)

Hmm.... I'm in a bit of a dilemma here!
I posted my cat but she's not been received by anyone yet! This a week ago.. Shall I call up Royal Mail to chase up the delivery? I'm not sure if I used the right stamps though cos she kept moving on the weighing scales.
It's peak season for posting cats. I'd give it a few more days...

He'd been my little pal for 14 years. You get very attached to them. The house is emptier without him. At this rate I expect it won't be long before another hard luck case finds its way to our door though. R
Sad to hear rich. Lost mine a few years ago after 22 years service. Ive not replaced her.
Best way to deal with it, mate. When we lose one of ours, the first thing we do is go along to the local Cat Protection League and get another wee moggie. Helps us deal with the loss, and most importantly, gives a much needed home to another stray kitten :)Quote:

Thanks Gaz. Yeah we adopted the other one when we bought our first flat. I was living at my mums for a while and a ginger stray tabby turned up. We moved in and installed a catflap and Alfie came in. We asked all the neighbours who he belonged to and whilst they had all been feeding him nobody knew. He'd been living in someone's shed and compost heap. Winter came and we neutered him so he stayed. He was charming and a real boss of the street. Fiercely territorial but a softy too.Quote:
