In very, very good condition (most are excellent), complete with new inner sleeve and very well packed. Exactly as described and promptly dispatched - what more could one ask?

So far the RCA tube seems to have the most dynamic sound Jerry. The JJ Electronic I liked the least.

I'd like to thank Pete (phoenixpete) and his wife for their hospitality when collecting the OA5's I purchased from him. The OA5's are perfect for an inconspicuous system in another room that I'm putting together.

I also got to hear Pete's great system. :)

Kind thanks to Andy (BTH K10A) and his good lady for their hospitality on Saturday, great sounding system, loved the EMT decks, and the JBL speakers were amazing, some of the best sounds I have heard so far in my hifi quest. I would have loved to stay longer and listened more.

I now have more classical records than I shall ever need and have spent the last couple of days sorting through them and making space...:)

Yesterday I took a trip down to 'the smoke' to deliver a pair of Missions to Shane. We had a great morning listening to his new Croft Series 5 through the Missions using his fathers Michell Gyrodec se / Tecnoarm / NVA/ Audiolab set up. Shane certainly has inherited his father's love of good sound.
Listening to Andy Shepherd's tenor sax from a big band jazz album made me realise
1. The Michell makes my Sondek / Ittok VIII sound pedestrian and uninvolving.

Glad you liked the Michell. Looks like it needs a dusting. I forget and leave the lid up. If u ask me I prefer the traditional Michell over the Orbe.

Received a nice NOS Mullard 85A2 voltage stabiliser valve, for my Croft preamp, from Andy (BTH K10A), which was utterly superbly packaged (the best I've ever seen for a valve!), and which was delivered quickly and efficiently.
