Seriously, all I can say is that in over 25 years of being involved in hi-end audio, I've rarely heard a pair of loudspeakers that sound more musically 'right'. That's they best way I can put it.

I can't wait to hear them on the end of Ian's system, and also my system at home, which will give me a benchmark of what to try and achieve with our system at Scalford Hall.

Dave, you simply MUST make it to Scalford, as there are a number of items in our system you need to listen to in order to prevent some of our 'interesting chats' rearing their heads here in future regarding things such as the SPU. I may even bring my "seriously coloured" sounding Koss headphones for you to hate ;)

Reyt all sorted for a week a Sunday, booked the entry tickets just now online saved a few quid..all ready to go..i'll actually be there early, with DIY ID tag so peep can avoid me like the plague :lolsign:

Gosh, I would have loved to have come, but as I have only just joined the forum and found this thread today, it's too short notice for me, as I have plans!

Next year should be good. I would have loved this too, I live in the South now, but I grew up in Stamford. I used to buy all my music in Stamford Music Shop, I wonder if it's still there? Have fun all those going.

I will be at the show. Come and visit me in Syndicate 7 which is above the Quorn room.

Here are some plans you might like to study. I gather they will be handed out to visitors in the form of a program. Navigation can be a little tricky because the first and second floors are not all joined up! These versions are easier to read than the hotel's own:
