Cool Old Kit You Never Heard Of

Well I think my Nagra IV looks cool, and my Ferrograph 632 looks, urm "industrial" and "built like a battleship". :rolleyes:

It's true. I suspect we've all considered getting one at some point even if it's just going to be decoration.

Nothing says you're taking this hobby seriously like a reel to reel machine on the shelf.

I didn't realise that Krell did a KSA 200, as Macca has never mentioned it. ;)

I would say that looks 'brutish' rather than 'cool'. However it's much better looking than my Levinson ML-2 monoblock amplifiers, which are probably the ugliest things going.

Yes doesn't belong on this thread, not cool and everyone's heard of Krell. Just that Kevin brought up big Krells. There's probably bigger ones than that.

I think they look cool, and I had never heard of anything bigger than a KSA100, so it meets the criteria in the thread title.

I'm using the Top Gear 'Cool Wall' criteria, meaning if I have one then it can't be cool. :)
