Ah well, it gave me the inspiration for a cutely distinctive avatar ... every cloud .... :)
My avatar is now constantly changing in an attempt to set the world record for avatar changes. Don't know if a trackable count is kept though and its no good asking me about the images as I probably won't know what half of them are.
No, you'd have to keep bobbing back in here to stick it into a new post every time you change it.
My avatar picture was taken around 8.00pm as the sun was setting on 18th January 2004. The ridge I'm standing on is around 2,500m above sea level in the Andes of northern Chile, the area is known as Puna de Atacama on the outskirts of the small town, San Pedro de Atacama.
I took a year out in 2003/4 to travel around the world and this day was just superb and the picture pretty much sums up that entire year really. Total bliss at 2,500 meters on a wonderful day during the best year of my life, which is never likely to be topped :)
. . . . here's the picture its taken from.

I'm jealous, Tim, as the Andes are somewhere I want to visit before I die. Preferably Peru, but I'm not fussy.
I did Peru too Martin and if its something that interests you, you really should do it, this is the most amazing place I think I have ever been, just breathtaking - I walked there too, not like the majority who take the train ;)

Yep - Machu Picchu is on my list, has been since I was a boy. Think it would have to be the train in my case, much as I think I could still do the walk
My avatar is of me flying my paramotor.
I have been flying it for 5 years, it is one of the most exciting things you can do IMO.
OK, after over 4 years with the same piccie, and despite previously being pleaded with not to change it, it's time for some festive frivolity.
