Well in the words of the great Red Adair "If you think it costs a lot to hire a professional, wait until you see what it costs to hire an amateur".

Hi Jez,
Backtracking a bit..........did you have anything to do with the phono stage in the Musical Fidelity A100??
If so, you are a little genius:) I have the A100 in one of the bedrooms driving some Kef101s. Its usually fed by FM4 or a CD player but as I have just received a Pioneer PL112D to play with, it seemed a good opportunity to try the phono input for the first time.
Bloody brilliant. The deck may not be top end but it sings its little heart out in this system.
I must be getting old. I reckon I could live quite happily with a system as musical as this, it gets the basics so right.
photography wise well it ain't got tits and isn't going to complain that I didn't catch its best side.... It's an amp guys.... I think people can see what it looks like even from my crap and out of focus attempt! Cheers for the offers though.
not tried an A100, but the phono stage in the A1000 is very good......
and i still fancy the haden boardman that was on here recently but cannot afford...
Easy, man - the amp has 'real balls'... If it had tits, it'd be somewhat 'powder-puff'! :eyebrows:
I believe that Jez can give it a sex change, if a different presentation is required.
Marco.
No, I don't think that's the meaning that was intended Marco.
Perhaps my friend Mr Parry could give a judgement!
