Just shows you though, how differently our respective heads work., and what appeals to them. I *LOVED* watching those two films late last night in the dark, with the only light coming from the flickering flames from the log-burner, and just engulfing myself in the macabre and spooky atmosphere they created...

I like something dark, scary and disturbing... And trust me, if you were a lone female, travelling late at night on an empty train, with that whistling nutter stalking you, it would be pretty scary!!

An opportunity to see a few of his films unknown to me, The House of Bamboo, Fixed Bayonets, and Hell and High Water.
Sam Fuller has never been a favourite director of mine, the best of his I've seen so far is Underworld USA from Sony's Samuel Fuller Film Collection Region 1 DVD.
