Looks interesting! What's it about?:)
For me, right now, I'm going back to the 90s... I remember renting this out on VHS, when Blockbuster existed!

In Which We Serve. 1942.
Class act of a film this. Quite a few future sirs in it too.

You never told me what the Old Dark House was about!:)
Marco.
It's a weird film. James Whale did it. It got destroyed then a lone copy was found.
One of those creepy, yet slightly amusing British oddities, although made in Hollywood.
Would u like it.. Maybe if it were remade. The shadow filming is great, and considering its about 90 years old it's still good, but be prepared to watch it numerous times
My favourite of that time is the Black Cat (the 30s Karloff/Lugosi film not the silly film made about 10 years later about some people trapped in a haunted house or something). In my opinion it's the best horror film of that time, although Nosferatu and Freaks are on a par and possibly technically more impressive.

See night out with the superb original The Lady Vanishes 1938, stars Margaret Lockwood and Michael Redgrave, and with the original Charters and Caldicot, Naunton Wayne and Basil Radford who along with May Witty, kinda stole the film.
