They are a good buy at moment considering. not cheap but getting on for half what they were. Yes Ring always made good stuff.
What a palaver. Just spent an hour on the phone getting my debit card and Barclaycard accounts checked. I tried to tax my car online last night and DVLA declined payment on first the debit card and then the credit card. All OK now, but nobody can tell me why this happened. Seems to me DVLA had me flagged for some mysterious reason.
What an idiot. Is he still alive?

Going too fast anyway. Hopeless judgement. Clipping white lines when cornering. All over the place. Tailgating. Overtaking on blind bends. And so on. He won't live long!
It was on a dual carriageway, so overtaking on blind bends is perfectly acceptable. There should be nothing coming the other way.
Yes. I know. It may be legal, But having ridden bikes most of my life and not exactly hanging about doing so, there's no way I'm going to hurl myself round a blind bend at speed. You don't know when you'll come across a tail back, accident or broken down truck, etc., blocking the road. Trying to stop a bike from eighty or ninety miles an hour in a panic is no fun.
It didn't look that fast or dangerous to me really, but then I didn't watch it all the way through. The blind corners must be further in than I got.
Aston Martin to revive and update sixties DB4 GT. That's gonna cost a bob or two!!

I fancy a bigger bike in my vehicle collection. This Suzuki GS500 may do. It's a bit overpriced, but it's a very tidy example with only 11k miles on.

Not the ultimate sports tool by any means, but quick enough for me and has nice light handling. Dead easy to maintain too.
It'll cruise at any speed up to 100mph, hit sixty in under 6 seconds and return about 75mpg.
Had one before, so I know what they're like. The previous one had a fairing.
Here's a photo.
