The one with the black face (though it ought to have a black strap to match).
Thinking about this for a Christmas pressie...

Invicta seems to be well liked, but will this be worth a go?

Got a number of Invictas including this one :)

The autos generally have seiko NH35 movements so they're decent value & keep time well.
Is the one you posted an automatic / mechanical watch or a quartz / battery?
It's a quartz jobbie. Saw it on the Ebay. Coming from US for about £108 including the postage.
Only got one Invicta quartz but it's fine. You can pull the crown out when you're not wearing it and effectively switch the watch off conserving the battery.
These things are awful, can't understand why people like them so much. I'd sell it but I really don't want to inflict it on anybody else

I have the opposite preference: in the words of the architect Mies van der Rohre "The less is more".

And with my admiration for elegant looking minimalist designs, I rather fancy the re-launch of 1977 Les Must de Cartier (as an evening watch of course)

Needs some batons for points of reference I think.
Still experimenting with nato straps, fitted one to this small 'cheapie'

Retro design but probably larger than the original at 40mm. Got mine pre-owned off ebay at a good price & I've changed the gold mesh strap for a more understated black leather one.
Few other new 'retro' Timex I've acquired, white one was a xmas prezzie

Black one is nice. I would happily own that
Yes, I like the look of the black Timex.
Incidently my first wristwatch was a Timex. Think I was 7 or 8 years old at the time.

Casio digital in my time.
My friend had one of these at primary school I was very jealous. I hated the look of the calculator ones though.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a9664f070e.jpg
Recall having a small Timex diver's style watch in secondary school but don't know what happened to it.
Got this for my 18th birthday, some 44 years ago and it's still going strong

I think around the same time I got my first LCD watch, I know this would fire up ok if I put a battery in it

Very probably was, given to me by an uncle who was a bit of a 'Del Boy'. Think it was his lorry things used to fall off the back of.
Today a nice plain citizen

Invicta 'Daytona' (Amazon BF)
https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...9b4e0fa1_o.jpg
i liked look of that daytona.
It's actually called a 'Speedway' but it looks almost identical to a Rolex Daytona (but then so do most three register watches).
Today this Patek Phillippe Nautilus looky likey
