Does "cotag" have a real name, Neil, or maybe just a very unusual one? ;)
Marco.
lol Marco his name is Mark. I used his AOS nickname, as folks buying from him will look for that first as there are I think plenty of Mark's about.

Here's a special vote of thanks to Martin (horace) who offered some bits and bobs to members, one of which I was lucky enough to snaffle - a HFN/RR Flux Dumper.
Thanks again, Martin - an extraordinary kindness, made even more so by your refusal to accept payment for the postage. If you've ever picked up a Flux Dumper and felt it's weight, you'll understand the significance of that!
Thanks a lot Martin, you're a star!
PS - As I type this, all of the flux in my system is draining into a large flux-proof container that I prepared earlier. I'll be taking it to the tip tomorrow, unless any of you folks can find a use for it. Taking a tip from Martin, I won't charge you for postage.
Thanks to Martin (horace)
for the tape switch
Very kind offer
I was actually thinking of using it to add a little mass to the Decca cartridge, Barry!
It's a bit beyond balancing a penny on your headshell, admittedly - but why do things by halves, eh?!
My copy of Cream's 'Fresh Cream' could only be played on my first, Dansette-style record player if I placed a 2/- coin (that is, a 10p piece) on the headshell. Not surprisingly it didn't do the last track on each side much good! I quickly realised the most valuable items were the records themselves, so quickly invested in a Garrard SP25, followed within a year by a deck with an SME arm.
