Pink Doc Martins, and she was getting funny looks ? Really. :)

Wayne Hemingway made a tidy sum spray painting Doc Martins.
Indeed, and Del likes them because they're quirky. She wore Docs a lot when she was a punk (which she got into late), in all different colours, and now because they keep her warm, plus one of her favourite colours is pink:)
Marco.
Lol, no it's cool. I laughed!
Judge for yourself. Here are the boots and skirt she had on [pics from the makers in question], as I said with a black jacket and black opaque tights. She has an art and fashion/textiles degree, so likes quirky clothes):

I think that looks ok:)
Certainly nothing for anyone to get 'excited' about, I shouldn't have thought - even a 60-odd year old perv, lol!:D
Marco.
I used to wear docs when younger. Red of course. They are comfy but always split at sole so stopped. I see they are silly money now. I wear crocs now [emoji23]
They are comfier for me and I can get them on/off
The guy was probably saying to himself that guy is letting his daughter wear punky clothes [emoji23]
:lol::lol: Ya cheeky bugger - I don't look that old!:D
Yeah, she likes Docs for, as she puts it, 'bombing about in' (as she's always going around at 100 miles an hour and can't sit still for 2 mins, which is the opposite from me), and of course they're comfy and keep her feet warm.
Not cheap either, as you say, I got them for her birthday, after receiving a 'want these' email, lol.
Marco.
Everyone's up early for a Sunday in January...
I t was always Kicker boots for me. Bright red. Really comfortable and quite hard wearing. When I bought my first pair in 1977, they were £29. They still make them, and they go for around £65. Doubling in price in about 40 years. I think that's quite cheap, probably made in China though.
Been thinking of getting some more lately, might choose a different colour.
