Is this a case of 'rip offs on eBay'?
Maplins (on eBay) are selling speaker terminal plates which are indentical apart from gold plating on one type and not on the other. The basic version has a £1.99 quoted postage and the gold plated option costs £2.99 postage. Work that out? Surely a couple of microgrammes of gold can't make that much difference.
Oh, and they don't offer combined (reduced) postage if you buy multiples, that's a bit cheeky.

On FM, I had a Realistic, something or other, CB radio, bought from Tandy, fitted with a 'Ham Puncher' mic. That 'rig' was quite highly rated, if I remember... With that, I used a 10ft 'silver rod', with a 80W Zetagi 'burner' (signal booster).Quote:
