Western tomorrow I think. The Maggie is a great Scottish film. A Gkasgae puffer

Is it in colour, lol?;)
I have to admit that since investing in a half-decent home-cinema system, it's changed the type of films I prefer to watch. I was never the biggest fan of many of the 'golden oldies' anyway, but even less so now when there's no impressive Dolby Digital surround-sound effects or 4K picture resolution for the system to show off!
Yesh, when it comes to films, I'm somewhat of a superficial technology tart:eyebrows:
Looking forward to seeing which western you choose tomorrow!
Marco.
Black n white.
Lol... You know what I'm gonna say, doncha?:D

A pretty good stab at the novel. Jude Law is excellent as the 'cuckoled' Karenin.
Just finished watching "One Day Removals" again.
Hillarious Scottish film which holds a record for the most swear words I believe, but don't be put off it really is a great dark comedy.

I think they’re up to number 4 now? But I caught the first one on TV last night, and real knock down, drag out shoot’um up! Not to spoil it, but someone shot his dog, so he proceeded to kill 200 people, and got himself busted up in the process. All manner of judo fights and knife fights, besides the constant shooting, it held my attention! I’ll give it that.

Lol, I like the sound of that, too! I need plenty of ACTION in a film, to hold my interest [shootings, crazy car chases, BIG explosions, special effects and shit], and lots of stuff happening, preferably some downright nastiness and violence...:D
Can't be dong with 'complex plots', anything that requires too much work to follow, and tries to be too clever or 'arty'/up its own ass, or long periods in films when there's next to hee-haw happening (even if the acting is 'superb'), when it's supposed to be about ENTERTAINMENT. Oh, or ancient shit that my parents would've watched when I was kid.
That pish bores the beejeezuz out of me!
Marco.
P.S And I certainly don't do 'love stories', unless there's a sinister twist!:eyebrows:
