I find this talk of ‘girliness’ most distressing - I’d be more than happy with a bedroom like that!! ;)

Haha - well you've never been one to shun your feminine side, honey!:bum:
Would Ursula approve of Del's new dressing room?:)
Marco.
She would indeed but, I’ll be honest, when it comes to stuff like this, I’m the more girly! I freely admit that I love candles, cushions and nonsense like that - more so than Ursula!
If I may say, the only thing I’d change in that room would be to add carpet. I don’t do hard floors in lounges or bedrooms as I think carpets just make them that little bit cosier.
Lol - that's funny! I know what you mean, though. Yeah, the wooden floor is because we have 3 cats, one of them long-haired, as is Del, lol:D
And when she's at home, she's always got her cats with her, so lots of fluff - and Del's waist-length thick hair [when she doesn't have it tied up in plaits/pigtails] gets all over the place!
Therefore, having to hoover up all the hair that's been shed, from a carpet, would be a ball-ache (and it'd be my job), so far easier just to sweep it up from a bare floor. As you can see though, there are some fluffy rugs, which cover large parts of the floor [more than can be seen in the pic, plus can also be moved] to keep your tootsies toasty!:eyebrows:
Marco.
Tell me about it. If I could harness the sticking power between our long haired male cat’s fur and the stair carpet, I’d have the world’s strongest adhesive!
Lol, love it... Thing is, as I do all the hoovering, when I clean out the machine, I can which type of hair is being collected, and there's just as much of Del's as the cats!
Anyway, I've told her to keep the room tidy, as she's a nightmare for leaving her clothes lying all over the place, and she's got no excuse now, as she's got umpteen drawers and two large wardrobes to sort everything out, but she just gave me 'that look', as in we'll see!!
Marco.
Aye, 'running short', as in the calamity of being reduced to under 100 bottles?:D Get it sortit, ma man!
Yeah, long-haired girlies are bloody high maintenance... You and I don't have that problem, lol! As it's the Christmas season, she's been wearing her hair more in plaits and tying little Christmas pompoms to the ends, so that tends to prevent shedding of hair more than when she has it loose.
You mentioned before that your wife and daughter were also 'messy pups', in terms of leaving clothes and stuff lying all over the place, so it must be a female thing? I've not lived with any other women before, other than Del, so wouldn't know.
I'm just hoping that with having lots of different compartments in her dresser now, for all her tights and knickers, and laundry basket to put ones for washing in, I won't have to keep picking them up off the floor!
Marco.
i once put all my daughters discarded garments in a bag for the charity run.. she freaked  she was a bit tidier after.. didnt last long and apparently she is still messy, but at least she does the tidying
a bottle of this it was.. https://176860-513159-raikfcquaxqnco...gsob.non17.jpg
That looks a belter, don't think I've seen that one before - sherried, is it?:)
Lol yeah, I bet she freaked... Del would have a fit if I did that!
It's pure laziness though, or rather because she knows that I'll pick up after her....
When she comes in from work she'll kick off her shoes and just leave them in the hall, in the middle of the floor for me to trip over, which is bad enough, but then half an hour later or so, once she's drank the tea I've made her, if she's not gone off to get changed out of her works clothes, she'll take off her tights and just leave them scrunched up in a ball lying in the living room floor - and they'll stay there until the next day, unless I shift them:doh:
When you come down to visit, you can tell her off for me!!:D
Marco.
