It's bloody cold out there, and starting to get dark. Anyway, she's tired now and just taken off her little pink wellies and toasting her toes in front of the fire.... Now she WANTS some tea and cake!:D

Nice. Might make a good caddy. Unless of course you want to keep ginger in it. :)
I live only six or seven miles away, so it is easy for me although I haven't been for a few years - we used to take our daughters out on a rowing boat from Flatford to Dedham when they were little, hopefully, I will be capable enough to do the same with grandchildren when the girls decide to settle down :)
we have a lot of aincient history on the doorstep, cairnpapple being the best.
