Indeed. It's a word not oft echoed outside of the watch world.
I am wrong however, it's more sunburst as the embossing is radial rather than concentric.
Did you say the Sinn could do three time zones Rob? I can see two
Main indices is one zone, GMT hand is the second zone and the third is the bezel which adjusts via the crown at 10 o'clock.
Set three hours back...

Ingenious.
I might need more water resistance than today's current pick has looking at the weather...

Indeed, a minimum of 1,000m today as it's raining with a stiff breeze. :D
Better safe than sorry then, stayed with the blue face to match today's ensemble

Oh dear!
Like the shape, finish and colour of the case, but not sure about the dial background. However I really couldn't put up with the mixture of Roman and Arabic numerals.
It's different, but it's not for me.
It's known as a Cali (California) dial. I don't know the thinking behind it but it's quite widely used in watchmaking, particularly on Italian Navy and Radiomir watches (Panerai and it's homage counterparts).
Thanks - I didn't know that.

Seems we have to thank Rolex amongst others for the idea - but I still can't see the point of it.
Nor me. Seems half and half to me, I prefer indices to numerals personally.
Hadn’t even noticed till Barry pointed it out.
nice old timey off white dial
Still in the Invicta box

One for each wrist?
An elegant looking watch - I like it. :)
Nice watch but is it water resistant enough to be out in the rain? :D
Something understated from Invicta (really!?), an homage to the original submariner from 1953.
If it wasn't for the fact it's got 'Invicta' on the dial I'd swear it was made by someone else.

They're lovely aren't they, got mine off Ebay, but they're only about £150 new.
Controversial dial :scratch::eyebrows::rolleyes:

Put my latest addition onto a ‘Guards’ nato, I think it looks good.
Got a couple of their 'Depth Charge' auto divers, couldn't decide between the blue or green but there was such a good offer on at the time I had both and it didn't cost me a lot more than the rrp for one of them :D (was well impressed with the build quality to)
