Well, should not be too expensive to re-foam then.
£40 tops & you'll end up with some seriously expensive speakers :D I know the original smaller AE1 (was it?) with the single bass/mid still goes for good money, but these....

Anyone know what the best way to get the old foam of the driver cones, maybe something solvent based?
Nice find, Rob. They should sound superb when re-foamed.
I used acetone to remove old foam & glue. You can get it in cans from boat chandleries.
Is that the same stuff as Nail Polish remover?

Nail polish remover leaves a residue - it isn't pure. Get proper acetone to ensure you remove it all before applying the new foam.
