Anyone know what the best way to get the old foam of the driver cones, maybe something solvent based?
Nice find, Rob. They should sound superb when re-foamed.
I used acetone to remove old foam & glue. You can get it in cans from boat chandleries.
Is that the same stuff as Nail Polish remover?
I'm pretty sure it is actually :) Nail polish remover may well be at a lower concentration though... It should still do the trick :DQuote:

Nail polish remover leaves a residue - it isn't pure. Get proper acetone to ensure you remove it all before applying the new foam.
