mine was a frozen one which was bigger than i thought, and a fresh pack of meat from campbells.. a full length of ayrshire square lorne:eyebrows: a lb of good bacon and a dozen big fresh mixed burgers. the rest isnt food tho... some beer, coffeeand baking goods

I used to be good at some of these games. If you were in the 'Golden Goose' in Llandudno around 1980 that high score on the Galaxians was mine.
Likewise in the arcade at the caravan park in Barmouth I was top scorer on Space Invaders. Until I got in a fight with some Geordie youth and got banned.
The passage of 40 years seems to have slowed my reaction times a bit though.

Asteroids was rock hard. I could play all day on the Atari version without losing a life but the proper arcade version was much harder. Hit that thrust button by accident and that was it, you were finished. And those alien saucers never missed.
I don't think we were particularly good at it, just better than all the pissheads that frequented it. They could afford a pint, or a 'Schooner' of Aussie white, but not matching shoes it seemed. In the Kingdom of the blind, and all that :)

I visited my local Tesco for the first time in over two years, and it was busy with no sign of any shortage or panic buying. Only went to buy a couple of printer cartridges, but ended up buying £136's worth of shopping! :doh:
