Good lad! you'll have a very nice pair of speakers when they're done. Don't forget they are AR6 bass units (unless there were model variations), the surrounds are obtainable.

Well done Martin they are 'GS401C' btw. The desirable one are 'GS401A'

I've already researched it, thanks Geoff, although according to one site they were made 'in-house'. There's a company selling the re-foaming kits here and even the Celestion tweeters can be replaced with SEAS units if necessary. I shall rebuild the crossovers, too. I also have the necessary power to drive them ;)

Thanks, Andr'e. I didn't buy them for resale value, just to be a very good 2nd pair of speakers for me. I thought the 'C' model were the chrome ones?
