Remember reading about the ascetic recluses back in school. Going to live in a cave and meditate, well away from people, for like 30 years.
At the time it seemed bizarre to me. Now I think, 'What a fucking good idea.'
Meet your friends, go out for a drink, take the train into Liverpool, have a walk down by the docks (get some FRESH AIR in yer lungs), visit yer mammy - woteva! There's currently no national lockdown. or correct me if I'm wrong, even a local one in your area.
For us, the whole of North Wales is still open, including Chester, so we're functioning completely as normal (apart from having to wear a fooking face covering in shops). I simply couldn't function being cooped up inside within the same four walls. day after day - too used to the garden and getting out and about.
My dad and I went for a lovely pub lunch the other day - yes LIFE still exists!:ner:;)

I tried to avoid doing most of those even before Covid! ;)
Did visit a friend a few weeks ago, and had a few visit me. Went up Liverpool in June. There's no-where near me that does a 'lovely' pub lunch. It's a two mile walk to get somewhere even half-decent for that. If you want a decent steak that's 7 miles away.
I've always regarded any need to leave the house as either an absolute necessity or a failure of planning.
