What do you mean your feet have collapsed? That sounds painful, mate... Are any of your wife's shoes in good nick, and/or you think would suit Del? What size feet was she?
Lol, yeah - she's a typical girly, so LOVES shoes and has plenty! She sent me a 'Want these' email earlier for some trainers: https://www.converse.com/uk/en/regul...p/566756C.html
Apparently trainers are fashionable now to wear with skirts and dresses, and she wants some. I always thought trainers were for wearing with the likes of jeans, but hey what do I know!
Marco.
no, trainer, well that type are fine with dresses. especially long frillies.. were worn in the 50's with some success;)
arches collapsed and feet spread a lot. changed the shape and arch etc. so most of my shoes now dont fit. im trying to stretch some slowly to see if i can get into them.
old age doesnt come lightly for some of us.. teach me for working too bloody hard etc.. still ive a couple of pairs im still ok with so not completely screwed
That's a nightmare, mate. Nothing worse than bad feet, as you're on them for a large part of the day. Sorry to hear that. Nothing a chiropodist could sort?
Yeah, I guess those trainers could look quite cute with her dresses, but they wouldn't be long, because as you know she's tiny and doesn't suit long dresses, so they'd be mini or knee-length ones, mostly in pastel colours, and of course pink!
Del likes 'vintage shoes' too, so if any of your wife's are in that style and new or hardly worn, she might be interested. She's a size 4. If your wife was the same, then she could try them on when we pop up next:)

This sort of idea
It's very popular and cutehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c328fd1b01.jpg
Yeah exactly like that, with bare legs and no socks, which again is apparently the fashion. I agree it's a cute look. She normally wears tights with dresses and skirts (with normal flats or heels), but seemingly it's different story with trainers in the equation!
I suggested otherwise [just to wear her normal very thin skin-colour ones] and she said NOoooooooo, most emphatically, tutted and laughed out loud! Good job I'm not a women's fashion consultant!!
Marco.
Now some of these I do like (not for me, my wife you understand!):
