Only thing I found was a badly fitted phone system. This was not used, so I disconnected it, no improvement.

Cars are just too complicated these days, I'm thinking of going back to a hoop and stick.
I'd happily go back to my trusty old Mk 5 Cortina, although Anita's first two cars, a Mini 850 (for a runabout) and a 2.8 injection Capri (for bigger trips) would be a good shout :):)
I've still got classic Minis, three of them. The oldest is a January 1962, had the car since 1968. It's got a 1275 cc engine in it. It would need a bit of work to get it roadworthy. Benefits, low classic car insurance, no road tax, MOT exempt, exempt from low emission charges (if car is registered).
Monster cat not turned up today, very unusual. Hope he/ she is OK, being deaf must be difficult for him/ her.

Hi Alex, hope catty turns up as well !. I ve noticed before your kindness with cats and neighbours. b w
Yes, and it says a lot about a person who cares for all animals, and not just their own pets. Although I think it's a bit mean to expect Monster Cat to fit into that bath tub.
Thank you, Monster cat did fit into a giant flower pot, this was last summer I think.

This guy really cares for cats, he even rents a flat for a stray cat and kittens.

She/ he not appeared as yet.
Good news, he/ she just appeared, perhaps shut it somewhere yesterday, or was offered better food!

Food given, Aldi ham, Aldi cat biscuits and Aldi soft cat food.
Thanks for everyone's concern.
Misty/ foggy out this morning.
When Anita went to get some shoes out of the wardrobe the other day, Alice (the cat) flew out. Don't know how long she'd been in there, but at least a couple of hours. Luckily she has good bladder control, and has never felt the need to spray in the house.
A few dreamies in her weeble-mouse, and all was forgiven :)
Yeah women with weak bladders do have a habit of house spraying. An annoying habit[emoji23]
I thought that's what Tena Lady pants were for?
Marco.
Marco uses these
https://www.tena.co.uk/men/
Them's the ones, and when she has action at both the front door and the tradesmen's entrance simultaneously, she has to wear two (one fitted back to front). So it really is a false economy :(
I thought you got your supplies from Lidl, the ones labelled "Le Dix Dude" (grand).
Remember Billy Connolly's stand up about his giant incontinence pants, which he tied off at the ankles before going disco dancing? That was quality :D
Went to an engagement do last night, the disco was exceedingly LOUD.
The quality was fantastic, really clear and great extension top and bottom. Looked like some smallish pro monitors on stands, didn't go up close to look at then because it was TOO LOUD.
I hate it when you can't even have a conversation without shouting, even then I have always struggled to hear spoken (shouted) voice over the LOUD music.
I did voice my concerns to both of the couple and his mother, there were lots of young children there, I bet everyone has ringing ears this morning.
I couldn't stick it for more than 3/4 of an hour, my ears were beginning to ring after that time.
Did I say it was TOO LOUD :mental:
Yes, and not to mention the friction burns are a bastard!
Sadly, that was in the days when leakage was light. I now make my own 'soaker pants' from used army parachutes.Quote:

Classic! Actually, one of the reasons why I'm into toilet humour is because it's a big Scottish thing. The fact is, most Scots find discussing piss, shit, male/female genitals, bodily functions and smut ENORMOUSLY funny!!Quote:

Have you ever watched the Scottish comedy series 'Two Doors Down'? If not, check it out. It's simply about everyday living for some middle-class couples in a posh part of Glasgow, although some their behaviour is distinctly 'unposh':

Marco.
Managed to cut myself shaving. Not done that in decades. Here's a tip, don't buy Sainsbury's own brand disposable razors. Like shaving with a broken beer bottle.
tip, dont use disposable razors
Especially cheapo ones, only fit for shaving minges!;)
Marco.
They used to do a cheaper one than their own brand and they were excellent. So of course they discontinued them.
If you think I'm paying out a fortune for some fancy Gillette thing then you must be crazy. Never understood the fascination some blokes have with shaving and shaving 'products.' I'd grow a beard but it would be all grey and make me look about 90 years old. Plus they never suited me anyway. Skinny little blokes with beards just look wrong.
Lol.... I use a good electric one now, which is a lot less hassle! Used to be into buying nice razors for wet shaving, expensive foam/soaps and all the malarkey that went with it, but can't be arsed now with the faff. Got a few grey hairs, but fortunately most of it is still brown!
Never been into beards, though. They always make you look like an old man, which I know now is the 'trendy look' among hipsters:rolleyes:
Marco.
I use an electric in the week but usually wet shave at the weekend.
A beard makes some sense if you are young but attempting to look older and wiser. If you're already old and wise like me then what's the point?
When they had those 'grow a beard' months a few years back some of the youths I know grew the most terrible looking beards ever - like something from an Edwardian costume drama. It wasn't a good look even in 1904 and it really isn't now.
I get it, but I doubt I'd have adopted that look, even had it been in fashion when I was a teenager, as I've always wanted to look young, even when I was young [plus my old man would've kicked my arse for going out looking like Catweazle], and now I'm older, I still like to look as young as possible (and dress that way, too), which is why I don't 'do' beards.
It's also why I keep my hair (what's left) super-short [much easier looked after that way, too], rather than allow any grey hair that's there to grow and become really obvious, or worse go for the 'Friar Tuck' look!!:spew:
If you want to look as young as possible, when you're in your 50s and over, then stay clean-shaven and keep your hair (if applicable) as short as possible. Quite simply, there's nothing more ageing, aside from a bushy grey beard, as long (dirty and unkept) straggly grey hair, especially with a big bald patch in the middle!:D:doh:
Marco.
i use a good quality razor and the best blades. i also use a braun electric one every second day.
cut my own . currently 3 on sides and 4 on top. short enough for this time of year. it will get shorter the warmer it gets
I seem happier with longer hair anyway (although I was at the hippodrome on champers in that pic)

Got more hair on my forearms than on my nut.
