Inspired by posts earlier I gave the De Longhi a bit of a flush through and made a fresh Illy brew just now ...
Hand grind took about 4 minutes to make enough for two cups ....
Firstly the brew - this was a 45 seconds stream which I usually find enough for a good crema (hope Marco approves .... ;) )

Then the milk - I usually use a small glass rather than an SS jug so I can keep an eye on it. This one turned out slightly on the frothy side:

The result? - delicious, definitely not Mr Grumpy now :lol:
Nice crema mine takes 23 secs for a large double double that I use for my partial latte. 3/4 coffee. 1/4 milk
