Yeah, we had him round for Father's Day, and he's coming round for lunch with some friends next weekend - *if* the weather is nice!:)

I don't go to pubs much at all actually, not since my local closed down. Even completely ignoring the smoking ban and the licensing laws couldn't save them. The older clientele died off one by one and I think the youngsters were too scared to go in there.

The other one I used to frequent that also ignored the stupid rules changed hands when the landlord got busted for selling weed and smuggled baccy. Now it's some sort of 'student pub.'

Lol - well if you're in your teens/twenties, single and with no responsibilities, it's a giggle. Otherwise, no. 'Proper pubs' are something quite different!;)
