The guys a looney. He should keep taking the pills:rolleyes:
i honestly didn't think twats like this existed
I lost the will to live one third of the way down that drivel.
Yes, but he is throwing in a Technics turntable from a pawn shop . . :stalks:
and he's selling this
Might come in handy :eyebrows:
Hahahaha.... Personally, I think it's as funny as fuck
Especially this little gem:
:lolsign:Quote:
I`d like to have at least seven questions asked, and i will answer at my discretion when i have the time. please note there is at least one question i will not answer, which is how i came to have this boombox. It may be answered at a later time or to the winning bidder.
The guy's clearly taking the piss!
Marco.
he must have been dropped on his head as a child :mental::mental:
There must be an angle here...?
Twin-Turbo,racing spec,absolute bell-end....
oh my life. everything that's properly awful about flebay is summed up in that pr*t.
reading that is like being stuck in lift with rain man.
Lol - I must be the only one who found it funny!
Marco.
Yes, its certainly funny but its unintentional on the part of the author :)

Surely I'm not the only person on here watching this?
Anyone who likes 5751 tubes, as an alternative to ECC83s, there's a nice NOS one currently on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3203225916...84.m1438.l2649
Marco.
Best not go there then :eyebrows:
Depending on how expensive they get to a may well have a punt ;) I'm rather partial to class A kit & single ended definately tickles the right bits with even order distortion production rather than more odd order with push pull :hmm:
Plenty of time to look up reviews as well. The big one is it's 15 miles from me & I could get a lift to pick them up if I just happened to win :rfl:
Well, it's a known fact that all the dafties stick together! :eyebrows:
Marco.
I really do like people with a sense of humour, but this guy has truly lost his grip on reality :eyebrows:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Target-aud...c#ht_500wt_949
Maybe I should have posted this one in the "Bargains on ebay" section
he's made a few errors of grammer and punctuation but 'nothing manor'
Well he is from Yeovil, I'd say thats a very good effort considering! ;)
In reality I suspect English isnt his first language, quite a few Poles/Czechs/Latvians 'round those parts. As for the price... God knows
I know but the language did make me laugh out loud. Anyway have you seen the prices that new equipment stands are going for these days? A bit of tubular steel and some MDF £400 plus? I bought a 'cheap' 5 tier rack 2 years ago it was £180 and is a total piece of junk, wobbles around like a jelly.
At that price presumably the leatherette is included?
Blimey! I've got a four shelf Atacama Equinox stand I don't need anymore. Maybe I could eBay this for, ooh, say £999 ... :eyebrows:
And complete with castors, too. Lovely!
Was that listing in English?
Barely... :lolsign:
It looks like he's used an internet translation program, possibly from Chinese. It's similar for the headphones he's selling.

I'm sure you people know how to fix arm bearings :)
nothing surprises me on ebay any more, just before Christmas i saw a guy sell a second hand mobile phone for more than you could get it new from the shop, madness, it's not just the sellers but the brainless morons that bid too:doh:
Here is a rarity:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PIONEER-SX...item27c20cc79b
Only £99 delivery to boot. FFS
There really are some shysters out there...
As gorgeous as this receiver undoubtedly is, it isn't worth that amount in my eyes. I might pay a couple of hundred quid for one but no more.
It's a lovely and rare thing, though, Dave. I could think of MUCH worse ways of spending £2300 on hi-fi! ;)
Marco.
They seem to fetch good money over in the US, $2000+ for a decent one. Of course that doesn't mean there aren't better ways to spend the money.
I bought my Pioneer SX950 for £61 last year. Its also mint. I know its not a 1980 but its not far off and £2240 cheaper...!
well there is still an ebay bargain god.........in my eyes anyway, i've just managed to bag myself an Aiwa AP2600 DD turntable, it's gunna need a good clean and service, but it's like the proverbial rocking horse shit and at £22 a bargain too:)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...04#description
And here one is in action
Yeeesssss, well done Mike! You got a real bargain m8 :D You can now join me in the joys of AP2600 ownership :eyebrows:
like i said it's gunna need a good clean and service, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem, what got me was how much it weighs.. 15Kg:eek: now that says quality to me ;)
Mark do you have a service manual for it m8, and also how easy would you think an arm upgrade would be??
No service manual for it i'm afraid, but I reckon an arm upgrade should be possible :) Unlike the Techie the AP2600 has one rather massive motor unit instead of it all being in seperate bits. In all honesty I haven't taken a close look at the internal electronics as mine works perfectly still :eyebrows:
Give it a clean & then see what it does, I doubt you'll need to do a thing to it to get some serious sounds out of it. But maybe a recap might be in order just to put the icing on the cake...
I bought mine for £25, but that was at least 10 years ago, so you got a real bargain Mike :D
Nice bag there, Mike. Should be an excellent restoration project.
think i should have it ready for Scalford:eyebrows:
Can't believe how much some of the stuff is going for on fleabay these days. there's still a very well priced Krell KSA80B up in Sheffield - and it IS a good amp IMO and will drive anything...
