As in society it should be got rid of. Obviously you cannot stop what folk think, but they should be made to keep their vile thoughts to themselves and their cronies. Not soil everyone elses ears.
As for Clarke, im sorry he was treated that way, but as he said boyd was big enough to handle sectarian abuse from celtic then how come he isnt when it comes his way? He should also have made an outburst over that too. He wants consistency ... im tired of our fans bringing the club down, but am also tired of double standards.
Time for the sfa to be removed and a new body installed to take us forward. All the big clubs need to address this as well. They have the technology to identify and ban them all... ok it will cost them fans in the shot run, but if they are paying more than lip service to the issue, then surely they have a duty, instead of blaming it on society.
Rant over [emoji3]
Yup, I completely agree (on all counts). I'd also have foreign refs like a shot, in the SPL, as long as they were better than what we've got. It would remove, in an instant, any accusations of pro-Rangers or Celtic bias, which I do believe exists, although it's nowhere near as bad as it once was!
As for the Celtic game last night, where they lost 1-0 against Valencia - a valiant effort by the boys, producing an outstanding performance, making it very difficult for an excellent team on their own patch. Indeed, we were dominating the game for the first 20-25 minutes, until Toljan was sent off, for a rather soft second yellow card.
So yes, talking of referee bias, I think it's pretty obvious that refs in European games are biased towards teams from the bigger leagues, where the money is, of which La Liga is one [I'd hesitate to say bigger teams, as Valencia aren't bigger than Celtic], and Scottish teams in particular, not just Celtic, suffer heavily from that. There's no way that Toljan should've been sent off, and of course as soon as that happened the tie was effectively over!
However, we still refused to give up, and had Ajer scored what seemed like a sitter, with a header, then at 1-1 on the night it could've been different. Still, what put us out was that piss-poor performance last week at home. If we'd played as well then as we did last night, we'd probably have gone through. Anyway, lessons learned (hopefully), and pride definitely restored!

Not footy, but I just *had* to get this in, as a big supporter of my adopted country in International rugby, especially the Six Nations....
Wales edge closer to Grand Slam title after late tries break English resolve...

The comeback KINGS strike again... We PUMPED the French in Paris, now we've CUFFED the English in Cardiff!! YA DANCER! :yay::yay::yay:
GRAND SLAM here we come!!!
:sheep::sheep::sheep:
Marco.
Yeah, indeed:doh:
I like to see Scotland do well (which is rare), but Wales are my rugby team, simply because I live here, have Welsh friends, my wife is half-Welsh, and they are traditional (and extremely PASSIONATE) rugby nation!
Plus, any time England are stuffed at anything, needs celebrating:eyebrows:;)
Good luck in the footy today - you should pump Hamilton easily, even on that shitey pitch.
Marco.
5-0 good result today, especially in the first half.
Told ya... Yup, and crucially without Morelos! You'll be glad that Defoe got on the scoresheet, too.
We beat Motherwell 4-1, who were the in-form team at the moment (six matches unbeaten), so not an easy game. You've got Dundee next at home. That should be an easy 3 points, and we're away at Tynecastle, which is never an easy fixture for us.
Plus, you just don't know what to expect at the moment from Hearts.
Marco.
