Thanks Tim, I don't often delve into the spare room CD's; it's just a mission :)
Cheers for the idea Mike, a Black Sabbath day tomorrow. It's been a while :)

Has there ever been a cover sticker that tells it more like what it should be ?
OK chaps.
So, over the past couple of years I have mainly been filling holes in / replacing worn copies of records in my collection, as opposed to buying new releases.
I have completed the majority of the easier purchases of records that matter to me and am now starting on the more difficult ones. First up in this category is Sabbath - Paranoid. My original copy was a fairly decent first pressing, but that is now pretty well unlistenable and has been for the last 10 years or so.
I don’t expect to find anything similar at a reasonable price, so my question to folk more learned than I is, what vinyl pressing, at a reasonable budget (< £50), would you recommend ?
Thanks for your help.
Mike
Oh dear Mike, you seem to be going down a rabbit hole there, and maybe taking some of us with you ;) I never gave it any thought before, but I do now.

Having read further into this, it would appear that the above mentioned 2016 Rhino pressing (which I very nearly bought this morning) should not be confused with the later and superior Rhino Hi Fidelity AAA pressing cut by Kevin Gray (which of course is going to cost a lot more).
Right, after all that I need a lie down...
I think you’ll like her - a mix of different styles - try and pick this one up first (you can get it for peanuts on CD - £3.48 delivered on your favourite Music Magpie on eBay) - it’s her third album, but her most “successful” if you count #55 on the UK albums chart as successful!
