How desperately can one need a coffee table or bookshelf?
I guess there's not much else to do in Warrington. I'm with Macca on this though. Personally I'd view not being able to go to Ikea as one of the few positives to emerge from lockdown.

As for Ikea [we've often used the Warrington store in the past, as it's the nearest], there's a couple of things we'd like for the garden, but nothing that would warrant being stuck in HUGE traffic jams and queues for, not only to get INTO the store, but at the checkouts, which even during normal times are a bloody NIGHTMARE...!!:doh:
So until things begin to return to SOME semblance of normality, you can KEEP it! Life's too short. In that sense, it never fails to amaze me how, for the masses, such things don't appear to matter - they just seem to LOVE sitting in queues and traffic jams, in order to buy things that are completely unnecessary!!:rolleyes:

I'm still working 9 to 5. Passing the rest of the time same as I always do - music, telly, sleeping. And I've got a computer game where you have to fight the Vietnam War, Takes about an hour to play a turn and there's 120 turns. That eats up the time like you won't believe. Not a shoot 'em up thing, it's proper strategy game and bloody difficult.Quote:
