Wasn,t happy with all my corrections so i redid them. Much cleaner sound now. Love the non destructiveness of the programyeah, not perfect, as they rarely are but very good indeed.. will do me.
A nice vinyl at 45 rpm this double, although Ray is a bit over the hill voice wise its still a nice listen
another out for transcribing/ripping is.... Melody Gardot, and my one and only thrill...(poor lass)

A great album from Masekela, it is in a Miles Davis vain, record in London in Jan 72, a 5 piece Hugh Masekela(SA) - Flugel Horn, Dudu Pukwana(SA) - Alto Sax, Larry Willis(USA) piano and electric piano, Eddie Gomez(USA) Bass, Makhaya Ntshoko(SA) Drums. All are excellent musicians in their own right and each shine on this recording.
If you like Miles or Art Blakey you are likely to enjoy this.

I and my friend went to Bridport to Clock Tower Records yesterday, only about 18 miles from us, I have been trying to get there for 3 years. It was well worth the visit, a big selection and all seemed fairly graded at least VG+ or more. Unusually there was even a £2-3 Jazz bin, around 100 records with some great ones in it, and a very good more expensive Jazz selection and a good Blues selection. Roy the owner is very friendly and helpful and will even make you coffee or tea whilst you look, and there are comfy chairs to relax in if you want a break from looking.
If you are near Bridport it's well worth a visit, by the way they do not sell online, it's about turn-around and VFM.
I came away with 12 records for £60 all at varying prices but all in NM condition.

Wonderful Blues Rock, this was one I purchased at my visit to Clock Tower Records at the weekend. I have been meaning to get some Mr Healey for some time. It sounds unplayed, some wonderful guitar breaks and solid band, good mix and well balanced.

Although labelled a blues man, Lonnie was one of the top Jazz guitarists, and was said he invented the guitar solo, especially for use in Jazz.
Highly respected in day and many of the top players since learnt from his playing.
