They are a proper classic of their time. A sort of 'mini' Ditton 15. Units are 5" bass, 5" ABR and HF1300. Nice!
You don't often see these in such good original condition. It would look good in a retro 60's / 70's home and deserves preservation.

But Lulu was turned onto music and R&B back in Glasgow by Alex Harvey, she jammed the blues with Maggie Bell and influenced Bowie. You need a low mass arm for that AKG. The 'LVX aint one.. The 'P8e' is a very high compliant cart of around 35x it would suit my arm to a 'T' :eyebrows:
The AKG P8ES works well in an SME 3009 (either 'Improved' or the Mk.II version, and either fixed headshell or detatchable headshell). IMO it is one of the best cartridge for rock music, though it was designed with classical music in mind.Quote:
