Might as well give up audio now!...games a bogey:(
I wonder how much the constituent components cost?
You can't 'add' depth, transparency, speed, or anything else useful that I can think of just by bunging something in line with a lead as far as I'm aware.
For God's Sake

My god! Just spotted this on eBay. It would be hard to think of something I'd less like to own.

They are a proper classic of their time. A sort of 'mini' Ditton 15. Units are 5" bass, 5" ABR and HF1300. Nice!
You don't often see these in such good original condition. It would look good in a retro 60's / 70's home and deserves preservation.

As the Lulu tracks were recorded in late 63 to early 64 and Airplane and Beefheart broke in Europe in 67, tell me Geoff did you get the DeLorean on fleabay? Seriously, I still have my copies of Surrealistc Pillow and Safe as Milk, which I bought new back in the day and it's artist I heard and saw as a kid, going to places like the Roundhouse the 100 Club, the Marqee and the Speakeasy, ghat shaped my musical tastes. But Lulu was turned onto music and R&B back in Glasgow by Alex Harvey, she jammed the blues with Maggie Bell and influenced Bowie. Pre the record company making her commercial, she was bloody awesome.
Yes when she was at decca pre Most she was a fabulous talent and what a voice for a kid
I like the look of these for £350: JBL 4406 active monitors with Urei 6210 amps.

Never saw that. Been after one of those 'Golden Shadows' for yonks..
around £400 is good considering those Mayware arms fetch over £200 alone. I got a spare motor for it is that's what it is. However it's sold now..

Perhaps its the TT's then, I've mounted P7e/P8e's on my old Ariston RD80/Basic LVX and on the Rega P25 and it's always noticeable. just a gentle tap on the lid sounds like an explosion :D Still lovely carts though..
You need a low mass arm for that AKG. The 'LVX aint one.. The 'P8e' is a very high compliant cart of around 35x it would suit my arm to a 'T' :eyebrows:
I won a NOS Super Nova last year but it never arrived. Fuming was an understatement.. The P8e i have has a duff channel
jesus grant your signature is bigger than most peoples posts :D
LOL.... creeping insanity I'm afraid Andre.

Here's something to tease André with from memory of a past thread:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nakamichi-...-/251931402403
Sadly, it's apparently collection only in Scotland. Nak 700 ii, serviced too..
Dunno about Andre but its teasing me. He stays 15 mins away from me, and used to have a large collection of tape decks. probably still has a few, but remember him a few years ago selling a few off.
