I’ll have to find that, thanks for the heads up - Ioniq 5 is currently top of my list for family EV although I really want to see what the finished VW Id.buzz looks like (and more importantly costs!) and when it will be available.
Just had a visitor with the Electric Mustang, that’s quite tempting too...
the Ioniq is a nice car, although headroom is a little lower at doors. its also quite expensive for decent spec in comparison th the Kona. Kona of course isn't an ev design, but an ICE one originally, so its all the more encouraging that it gets such a good range(especially in warmer weather) where you can if you try get fairly close to 300... some have had over that.
It all depends on your driving style. You can also extend the range by “hyper-miling”.
The next car for the wife is likely to be 100% electric, so I will be following your Journey with the Kona with interest.
porsche are doing evs too now. its gonna be the future i think whether we should like idea or not, so might as well climb aboard. TBH there isnt much difference when driving, bar engine noise etc.
except a lot of people like changing gear. Automatic transmission never really caught on here no matter how good they eventually became.
I suppose up and coming drivers will learn in evs and go on to drive them and will never encounter a manual.
