Hmm, I think we will have to visit Llandudno this summer, looks good. Years since we last visited, and I can't remember much about it. I do remember us driving up the Great Orme and there was some kind of cafe/restaurant at the top, associated with a famous boxer or wrestler iirc.
This time I might get the tram though, if only to see that rare species in its natural setting: a train driver driving a train :) Maybe ASLEF doesn't apply to trams.

Walk up the Orme because 'The tram costs money.' I think we only went on it the once.
There used to be a café half-way up, we'd always ask if we could stop for an orange juice. No chance - 'It costs the earth in those places.'
And there was the 'Happy Valley' - loads of pensioners sat in deck chairs waiting for Norman Wisdom to come on. We didn't know who he was.
