This would do the job without much compromise at all I reckon if you change your mind. I bet that amp when working to spec is killer. The trouble with these old amps is they will fail. Like my M-60s. But they are MUCH better than most people think they will be.

I like the 'thumbwheel' tuning mechanism, but dislike the mixture of fonts used for labelling.

When studying graphic design in the 70s, we were told mixing fonts was a no-no. As was using caps only for fonts like Old English text and Cursive Script type fonts - anything that makes text harder to read is a failure. At least Marantz correctly mixed caps with lower case :)
