Fantastic price for a poptastically brill Christmas album by Lindsay Lohan's little sister!
The title track is genius. I won't be getting rid of this one :)
No Angel is ok - I heard this album before "Stan" broke her, as I'm a massive Faithless fan (for those that don't know, she is Rollo from Faithless's sister and my best mate knew him quite well, and that's how I heard it) - she was quite different when it first came out. Now, if you also bought "Life for Rent"...
The first single I ever bought was by The Woodentops... An indie-pop band which had Rollo on guitar and vocals. I always thought it was odd that he ended up setting up Faithless, but apparently The Woodentops got bitten by the Balearic bug one summer and the rest is history...
I think you've got your Rollos in a muddle Nick -Rollo Armstrong is the Faithless Rollo - (Dido's brother) - a quick Google reveals that the Woodentops Rolo is Rolo McGinty (and they're still going strong) - but I like your story better! ;)
Mind you, I wouldn't mind a pint of what Dido & Rollo's parents favourite tipple is - real names:
Rollo - Rowland Constantine O'Malley Armstrong
Dido - Florian Cloud de Bounevialle Armstrong
Although apparently they were always called Rollo & Dido, almost like pet names vs pedigree names!
To be called one thing and christened another is actually very confusing and annoying. It's one of the most irritating things that my parents did to me.... Florian is a German man's name. That's just mean. To give your child a whole lot of odd names. They were all so embarrassing. ...I thought it was cruel to call me Dido and then expect me to just deal with it.

Hmmm. Off the top of my head
Carpenters - Singles and Gold...
Howard Jones - Dream into Action
Nik Kershaw - The Riddle and Human Racing (both great albums IMHO)
Paul Young - No Parlez
Most of Mike Oldfield's ouervre (though I'll fight anyone who says it's crap - OK 'Islands' is crap, but anything else :punch:)
A few assorted Nana Mouskouri albums. Oh and Des O'Connor. And Kenneth McKellar.
I feel cleansed.

Does it still count if it was only £2 in the charity shop?
I'm loving this! :o
(Well apart from Robbie Williams)
