Yup, your directions were spot on! Regarding the tonearm, I don't mind if they simply fix my existing one, as long as the job is done to the required standard, as that option may be quicker than waiting for a new arm to come.

No worries. It sounded mighty fine with the CF board. If you get round to making me an armboard, mainly for aesthetic reasons, I think I'd go for the composite aluminium :)

As discussed, the issue with more complex solutions is price and whether the market can support it - bespoke production of the kind of stuff I do isn't really a viable option (though prototypes will have to be constructed :)). But, I'll have a go at producing the CAD drawings from the measurements I took (and the template I made).
