Thanks, Ken. I didn't even see the Glass Audio bit. I was just looking at the description. I still don't get the Dumfries connection, though! :scratch:

Why aren't they being collected from where the company are based, i.e. the Midlands? There is no explanation for why that is so, which I can see....

Well maybe less ... they have stuck at £2,500 for a while now... so maybe my £4,500 estimate won't be too far out... do I win a prize for being the nearest ? :eek:

The serious bidders will come in at the end... At the moment, they'll be holding back, not wanting to put the price up any more by starting a bidding war. I think £4.5k will be about right.

I lived with a pair of those for about a year. Worked well with a Quad 22/II, (but so did the Quad 57s). They were very nice to listen to at the time, good with piano music, but speaker design has moved on considerably since the '60s.
