indeed Adrian, she is a great vocalist.
Not usually into free jazz as sometimes it can be a bit torturous, but this is more accessible and quite melodious. Some fantastic musicianship, and I would say that the music paints pictures. Well worth a listen.

This came today, I believe it is it considered a ground breaking album of its time, a tricky listen in parts as all free jazz can be, but on my first listen I think I like it. Its very well recorded and this re-release is excellent. I will give it another go later.

Jazz or blues. It's up to you. If in doubt it can go in the general music tab
GoGo Penguin - A Humdrum Star . Their label is Blue Note records, so definately classed as Jazz (fusion). Sounded fantastic at St Luke's in Glasgow last year.
