I'm not sure what that's all about... Is it legit or someone's DIY project? I can't determine whether it's a bargain and beautiful or overpriced rubbish. What do we know about this deck?

The picture on the front of the service manual for the 5300 would seem to indicate this is a butchered <ahem> I mean highly modified item.

Think Restek had something to do with those..not sure what but they were supposedly very good amps
