tHINK HE WAS LOOKING FOR £170, SO NOT FAR OUT.. doh caps on .lol. Dont need and they aint cheap so wont bother. Am going to try the IMF's on the main system tomorrow. Damn near ended myself getting the downstairs. Just interested as to how good the sound in comparison to the KEF's
£170 is pretty good. The smaller System 600 go for over £200 generally and the 637 should have a better bottom end. Don't let me lead you astray Grant, but I reckon you'd be delighted with them. By the way, they will definitely run circles around the IMFs and not wishing to be rude, they'll likely outclass the KEFs too. I've had several pairs of Tannoys using these drivers (i6/DC6i/Sytem 600) and they sound lovely. (OK the DC6i has paper cones, but sounds just about the same)
The IMF's have Kef drivers in now... 200's I think so wont sound standard. I will consider it; funnily I think I might know the guy, and thats kinda putting me off a little.
Not in great shape but very rare now Quantum Electronics pair of '205' monoblocks. Looks like the '402' is included but no '102' pre

Monitor Gold..........? Interesting.
Yes it's mine :o I want a new project and I'm afraid the Heybrook needs to go to fund it. I must admit I've been tempted to remove it everyday since last Sunday but the 401 project can't start until it's gone :wah:
I still have a couple of days to change my mind, we'll just have to wait and see.
SME '2000' if it were me

The £20.99 would more like it
Haha - I used to have much like that. Gave it away when I found an original Ferrograph head degausser for about £25.

I wanted a 150 really but to be honest i liked the plinth on this and its only an hour away to collect so just went for it. Will either re-sell it or sell my project debut 2 once ive had a play.
It should better a project debut 2 I'd have thought.
