I don't think the mileage matters, if you fancy a flash car and can afford it just have one, why deny yourself?
I knew a bloke who had a DB5, drove it a handful of times a year and then not very far. I asked him once why he didn't just sell it and he looked at me like I was insane. Just owning it gave him pleasure. It was the proper Bond one as well, in the gun metal grey.
Saw a guy on a site i use just did 480 odd miles and only had one charge, and still had half a battery left. Averaged about 340 miles on a charge. a kona actually. and he started with less than a full charge. witshire to manchester area and back i think
Fast public chargers are very fast. Topping up for 20 miles would almost certainly take less than 10 minutes with a decent car and a decent charger. Admittedly not all public chargers are that fast, but it is technically feasible to deploy very fast chargers. Some older EVs are not able to use the fastest chargers, but that restriction will gradually disappear. Some public chargers which are already quite fast are being upgraded to way beyond the limits of almost all cars re speed of charging.Quote:

I would like it if the real world range of EVs were closer to 400 miles than 300, but realistically for most people, most of the time, even 200 miles is good enough. Even charging on public chargers it's possible to do about 1000 miles for under £50 - whereas a fossil fuel car would probably consume around 17-20 gallons at a typical cost of around £120. For regular use and short distance journeys per day (under 200 miles total) costs can be reduced significantly by overnight charging.

had car out for a run... soon supposed to be changing it but looking like that wont likely happen now. so many have been removed from scheme, and prices of other are mostly sky high and delivery times even higher; unless you go electric then you have a chance of seeing it built :rolleyes:
I'd just keep what you have, mate. It's a perfectly good car, it suits you, and you know it:)
