Apart from the Metro and Maestro?
Aye but i meant at that time. The hatch was appearing everywhere but BL decided to only have one and stick with saloons..that was a big mistake
It was the Austin Princess. They'd stopped using the Morris name by that point.
I think the last Morris badged car was the 1100 but may be wrong about that
I think the Montego replaced the Princess in the line up as the 'executive saloon' - compared to the Princess it was agricultural and very cheap and nasty inside.
Remember they used to do the Vanden Plas versions of the Princess and Allegro with the big Rolls Royce style radiator grilles? They looked ridiculous.
Yep, and the square steering wheel..
I said I wanted one of these, Peugeot Partner Combi 2.0 HDi, picked up last night.

I now have three motors on the road. This is oldish, 2004, but only has 47k on the clock. No rust whatsoever and no issues of any kind. It drives like new and stomps along surprisingly briskly for a non turbo diesel. Quite chuffed with it actually. It'll be a good all purpose runaround, These things just don't wear out and are cheap to run.
Yes. I know it's green. I like it!
Those engines can have their problems, but get a good'un and they'll do star trek miles.
That's exactly the same as my mates only his is a Citroen.
...whoa there Martin, don't be overlooking the 'Italian' re-styled Morris Marina, the 'Ital'...what a beauty ;)

...and these were very popular company cars at Jaguar in the late 80's, the old Maestro Turbo, 0-60 in less than 7 seconds...but unfortunately the chassis couldn't keep up with the engine, bit of a death trap!
