We're with the Nat West, which we can walk to in 10 mins, or drive to in 3 mins. We seem to be pretty fortunate living where we do, as whenever I hear of 'the effects of consumerism and/or commercialism having eroded the quality of life elsewhere, Wrexham is often blissfully exempt.

It's not perfect, although nowhere is, but all in all, it's a nice place to live, with pretty much everything you need on your doorstep, a good indoor market and still plenty of privately owned shops, owned by the same family for years:)

It's a joint account, which of course her wages go into, but that doesn't stop her from expecting to be bought stuff, and fund the princess' shopping trips!

Off out now, looking at cars, as Mrs. P has decided it's time for a change. I don't expect to find anything as our requirements are quite specific, and all we can agree on is Audi A5 or Jaguar XF, 3 litre V6 jobbies. I'd be happy with a Merc, but all the ones she likes are too dear.

good luck with that.. I quite liked the look of the Q3, and the X1 from bmw. but not had chance to get too close.. My sis in law is on to her second X3.. she loves it.

A work colleague had a Q3, maybe still has it. Came round showing it off, and it was very nice. The headlights were a bit strange, they 'look' sideways as you turn a corner!

Interesting comparisons on car size now and apparently insurance is higher if you keep a car in a garage as opposed to driveway..

Yes a lot of higher spec cars have this look round corners thing. I've never tried it tho
